I drew this for "Jey" on the PSO World forums in exchange for the astounding pencil drawing that was created for me.
This pic is the end of a long journey. I redrew this particular image at least 4 times just to get proportions right. I don't think I've ever put in this much into what started out as a fun doodle! I can post the "before" doodles if desired. The coloring is inspired by Yuji Himukai of Etrain Oddysey/Sekakyuu no Meikyuu fame. Himukai's style felt very accessible, given the fact I'm a total CG nub. I colored everything here with the polygonal lasso tool. |
